VALCHIUSELLA ENTERS THE GLOBAL TRAIL BUILDING PROGRAM

“SOIL SEARCHING”

 

For the past couple of years, SPECIALIZED USA, the world-famous US bicycle brand, has been supporting a campaign dedicated to Trail Building, the construction and maintenance of trails, worldwide, and has done so by sending its two Ambassadors, Mark and Will, Canadians by birth, to visit areas where trails are being worked on to collect testimonials and video material of the activity. Thanks to the interest of Bicisport Ivrea and Specialized Italy, we had the pleasure of having Mark and Will in Valchiusella, a stop on their current trip in Europe to discover the various local realities; with them, our group of volunteers worked for a couple of days on fixing a few critical points on Valchiusella Trail, interspersing the work with a few moments of riding.

 

Our project Valchiusella Mountain Biking by Gravity Crew continues to grow, and let us tell you, it was great to see our lads, muddy up to their necks, working enthusiastically together with the Canadians on the trails of our valley. VMTB is not just about riding, but about growing up according to values of respect and sharing, with an eye on the future of our young people. Well Done Everyone!!!
